I have been following Norm 2.0 for some time now and the Thursday doors have been delightful and informative! Manja posts weekly on this too which is also such a treat and I have often thought that it would be good to participate in this. But I have never had photos to share until now! We live quite close to Princeton University here in New Jersey and it is an architectural delight, to say the least… the doors, windows, the ivy, the Latin engravings, the stained glass…everything is simply beautiful. We often go there, particularly in the summer months, to stroll around and maybe have a little picnic under the trees and marvel every time at the grand buildings and the minute details that adorn them. This time I was mindful enough to take some pictures that I can share as part of ‘Thursday Doors’ and it makes me happy! These doors are of dorms and different departments
Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to #ThursdayDoors. This is an excellent first entry. At least a few of these could pass as old world doors from Italy or France. Nice finds indeed 🙂

Oooo, another hidden treasure! I was not very active visiting other blogs this summer and I see only now what all I’ve missed! These are excellent, please do not stop taking door photos! Especially the first one blew me away. And the last two! Just perfect. I see that you link to Norm and he has seen your post, but the next time please link to Norm’s most recent door post and not just to his blog in general. I really hope that we will see more of your doors!

Thank you Manja! And yes, I will link to Norm’s most recent door post next time..thank you for helping me learn! I am on the lookout for doors and will post as soon as I have some. And thank you so so much for being the inspiration behind my feeble attempts at poetry…i would never have even tried it, if it were not for your encouragement!
