Sandy has an exciting one for us this week! The Friendly Friday Photo Challengehas been splashing bright pops of color for the past two weeks and it has been a lot of fun. While I do not edit my photos other than some cropping and little exposure control (with the most basic features of the cell phone or the photo editor on Microsoft Windows), for this challenge I was indeed inspired and tempted to try some editing on Lightroom…thank you Sandy for the ideas! It was an interesting experience and I have sooooooooo much to learn! One step at a time.

This is an original photo, with no edits or filters…the sky was like this a few months ago, one fine evening. As they say… Nature needs no edits.
This is picture post card, I had picked up way back in 2008 in Bangkok and it hangs on the side of the refrigerator along with another one that I really like. All of the post cards were black and white with the exception of this one where the bright orange is in perfect contrast and fits this week’s theme as well!
If one were to look around in drawers in my kitchen and boxes in the hall closet, one will find such caps of beer bottles and wine corks (with notes written on them sometimes) in plenty. They are part of our ‘memorabilia’- knickknacks from celebratory moments and days.
Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe.
… and now you knkow how they made your postcard 😉
I’m glad if I piqued your curiosity. Thanks for sharing. Orange you glad you joined in? 😁
